About me and my work

Growing up in California, film was all around me – from the time I was a small child I loved film. Going to the cinema was, and still is, my favorite pass time. I loved watching movies at home too: any DVD with hours of bonus content, behind the scenes, or interviews were devoured. My love for film later turned to a passion during middle school, when the process of actually producing a film was introduced. There was a local film festival that took place every year that showcased a number of filmmakers from all over the United States and from a number of other countries. It was in that theater that I found that making the one thing I loved most in the world, movies, were something I could make and produce. I went to a number of film camps over the years and spent my free time in high school developing my writing skills along with my directorial skills. Toward the end of high school, after I had spent countless hours behind a camera trying to get the most cinematic shots possible, I picked up photography. A lot I had learned about film applied to the art of photo taking so I picked it up rather quickly. Photography has become a great love of mine. Often in my alone time, or with my friends you can find me taking, editing, or looking at inspiring photos – If of course, i’m not watching a movie.
